USEFUL INFORMATION

Menorca is the most northerly of the Balearic Islands nestled in the Mediterranean Sea off the South East coast of Spain. Its coastline is more unspoiled than any other part of Spain and the countryside remains largely green and pleasant.

45km from top to toe Menorca is the second largest island in the Balearics. An island of contrasts steeped in history from its lush, green rolling hillsides, to its unspoilt sandy coves Menorca will enchant you from the first moment you see it.

The long main road leads you easily from Mahon on one side of the island to Ciutadella on the other, making it easy to explore the whole island during your stay.

There are many historic towns and villages in Menorca each filled with individual character and charm, from the cosmopolitan atmosphere of Mahon to the quiet sophistication of Ciutadella.

The many coves of clear safe water and enchanting views plus, of course, Son Bou with its long sandy beach, happily acknowledged as the best beach on the island will give you many hours of pleasure. The Menorcian people are quietly welcoming with a genuine warmth of greeting and an eagerness to share with you their lovely island. Find out about the beauty of Menorca for yourself
.

While there are many restaurants and bars with traditional food and good music, Menorca also has many echoes of its ancient past including a number of Bronze Age stone structures. In all Menorca offers a marvellous holiday opportunity with something for everyone and our self catering villas provide a homelike atmosphere which will appeal to a family or a group of friends holidaying together. We are certain that you will enjoy our villas and the friendly personal help we can offer you.

Car Hire

We recommend Sol cars for car hire. The company is run by an English family who have lived on the island for many years. They have an up to date fleet of cars which are regularly serviced and provide all necessary accessories such as car seats which are always thoroughly cleaned and renewed annually.  www.rentacarmenorca.com

There are two maintained tennis courts within five minutes walk of the villa.

There are plenty of playgrounds dotted around the island. There is also a large water park on the south of the island at Son Bou. There is a large adventure park called Castle Menorca which has many rides for all ages including an outdoor Go-Karting track nextdoor.
